Just wanted to add one more card - another plaid stamping. This time I masked off the sentiment area while I sponged on the plaid. When it was all done, I unmasked the sentiment area and stamped the sentiment in Versafin black onyx. Love the shock of white next to the plaid. In the top right hand corner a little piece of cardstock peeled up when I took off one of the post it strips - I was almost done. Amazing how such a small thing is so disheartening. I tried to glue the piece back so that I could at least photgraph it. Anyway that's it for me today!

This looks great, too! I was relieved to see somebody else accidently peeled off some paper. That happened to me, too, and I tried to fix it myself just as you have. Don't worry about it -- I wouldn't have seen it if you hadn't mentioned it. I agree -- not about to start over at that point, after all that work! Your card is awesome!

ReplyDeleteGreat card, didnt notice till you mentioned. I have this happen myself and the odd fingerprint from where a bit of ink got on my hand and I didnt notice till toooooo late. It all adds to our masterpieces. I often add an odd gem or two to hid 'additions' :)
ReplyDeleteYour color choices are fantastic here. If that little spot bothers you, I would just cut the card down a bit to make it slightly smaller.
ReplyDeleteOoh this card is a stand out in the gallery :) very pretty colours and I didn't notice the little rip until it was pointed out... but gosh I hate it when things like that happen right at the last minute! Anyways, its a beautiful card :)
