PPA Best-Dressed pick!

Dap marchHello Everyone,
In March I entered a Pals Paper Arts colour challenge and was one of the Artists' Pick of the week. Well now the same project has been selected as a Best-Dressed of the Year! I am amazed at how excited I am by this - woohoo. This was a project I got from Andrea Walford - she and her sister are amazing paper-crafters; definitely check out their Papercrafters' Library. It is an amazing site. Well this is just the "kick in the pants" I need to get the New Year mojo going. Happy New Year Everyone!

Paper Players Challange: Golden Vanilla Cherry! A trilogy...

Hello Everyone,
Obviously entering the Paper Players challenge twice wasn't enough - I had to go for the Trifecta. I bought this stamp at a local crafting store called Heather's Stamping Haven. This stamp is by the Stamp Barn which is a local stamp company. It reminds me of a typical Canadian winter country scene. When I saw the colour combo at the Paprer Players, This card just popped into my head. I think it is the epitome of CAS - I hope you like it.

Happy Stamping,
Meg

Paper Players Challange: Golden Vanilla Cherry! The Sequel

Hello Everyone,
As I mentioned in my last post, I loved that challenge so much and my new PTI goodies, I had to make two cards. So here is the second - thanks for stopping by.

Paper Players Challange: Golden Vanilla Cherry!

Hello Everyone,
I love this week's challange over at Paper Players - a CAS combo of Gold, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla. What a delicious combination. I used my new PTI wonderful words stamp set and dies to make this card. I love the classic look and feel of it. I was so pleased I made two! See my next post for the other one!

Happy Stamping,
Meg

PPA 123: Puttin' on the Glitz!

Hello Everyone,
I was checking out PTI's Make it Monday video and learned how to do a masked glitter background. It creates such a gorgeous effect and is super-easy, once you know what you are doing. You should check it out. So, When I saw that this week's Pals Paper Arts challenge was puttin' on the ritz - I knew I had to try this technique. I used a nestability Snowflake to create the mask and went crazy with the purple and silver glitter. This card sparkles like there is no tomorrow in real life. Anyway, thanks for stopping by.

Happy Stamping,
Meg
